It will mark the third time UVU has been the No. 3 seed. In 2014, the Wolverines advanced to the Championship, where they dropped both games to Sacramento State. In 2016, they returned to the Championship, where they beat No. 1 seeded Seattle U 4-0 to advance to the team’s only NCAA Tournament.
Grand Canyon won the regular season and will be the No. 1 seed, followed by No. 2 seed Sam Houston. Seattle U is the No. 4 seed. Abilene Christian, UT Arlington, UTRGV, and California Baptist are the five through eight seeds.
The 2023 Tournament will return to Hohokam Stadium for the eighth consecutive year. The defending champion New Mexico State did not qualify.
All games will be streamed on ESPN+ in the United States and on WAC International outside the United States. GoUVU.com will have an audio-only stream of UVU games.
