Jimmer Fredette is tearing up the NBA D-League by being one of the most prolific scorers, and he continued that trend at the All-Star game by dropping 35 points in the East’s victory over the West, 128-124. Those 35 points were a D-League All-Star record and did so in just 25 minutes on the afternoon. There was no other player who manged to even get to 20 points with the next highest scorer being his teammate Jarnell Stokes who had 17 points.
With the type of season he is having Fredette is still optimistic about getting back to the NBA.
“You’re always hopeful,” Fredette said after the game. “Everybody in this league, that’s what their dream is. They want to get back or into the NBA, or further their career. That’s what this league is for, and I’m no different.”
