Ronald “The Three Man” Weaver sat down with BYU men’s basketball forward Bruce Branch III to discuss why his focus remains on winning at BYU rather than the growing conversation surrounding his NBA Draft potential.

During the interview, Branch opened up about his family’s move to Provo, the factors that led him to choose BYU, and how the culture within Kevin Young’s program has helped shape his development both on and off the court. He also shared his thoughts on team goals for the upcoming season, building chemistry with a talented roster, and why team success takes priority over individual accolades.

Branch explained that while NBA aspirations are certainly part of the long-term picture, his primary objective is helping BYU compete for championships and continue elevating the program on the national stage. The conversation also touched on his transition to life in Utah, the support of Cougar Nation, and the lessons he’s learned throughout his basketball journey.
