Jeff Grimes wants to be an OC. He wants the challenge. #BYU committing more resources to allow Kalani Sitake to make this happen.

Per @RossDellenger Jeff Grimes was offered a raise by LSU two years ago when Kalani Sitake came calling.

Earlier in the week Jeff Grimes was offered a raise by LSU & Orgeron to remain with the Bayou Bengals according to multiple sources. Grimes still ended up taking the job at #BYU.

Great thing about this hire, Grimes knows how bad BYU was this year offensively b/c of 1st hand experience. He’s looked under the hood in his meetings with Kalani, he knows the QB situation ain’t easy…and he still wanted the job. He believes he can fix this offense.
