BYU women’s basketball head coach Jeff Judkins announced he is retiring from coaching at BYU after 21 years as head coach. Judkins has the most wins by a head coach in BYU basketball history.

Hour 2
“I’m biased, I’d love to have Coach Rice back. Him and Coach Rose were a great partnership. There’s no chance he’s lost his passion for coaching. He’s got so much competitiveness and energy.” –@collinsworth55 on who he’d hire to fill Chris Burgess’s AC spot. pic.twitter.com/JQLDF6erzv

“Right now, he’s really focused on the physical side, the injury prevention. All the talk last year was if he could stay healthy, and my opinion is he held back a little because he was being smart, because he needs to stay on the field.” -Dustin Smith on Jaren Hall. pic.twitter.com/shVx4eHl5n

Hour 3
“Going into spring ball, we had a bit of a chip on our shoulder and we played well together. We’re making some good progress towards where we need to be and I think we’re going to surprise some people.” –@caden_haws on the BYU defensive line. pic.twitter.com/lwgHt6JS8a

Hear me out: I want Jeff Judkins to enjoy retirement as much as anybody.
But what if he could take the spot on Mark Pope’s staff, maybe even for a year or two, to replace Chris Burgess. His experience wouldn’t hurt a group of young’uns, IMO. https://t.co/nij81FX4nD
