A slow news week in BYU recruiting.
Late recruiting news broke after our previous recruiting update as New Zealand rugby player Manase Tu’ungafasi committed to play football for BYU. Tu’ungafasi is expected to play offensive line and the coaches want to get him ready for BYU’s Week 1 game at Nebraska. Defensive line coach Steve Kaufusi joined Cougar Sports to discuss how he secured Tu’ungafasi over Oregon State.
Tu’ungafasi joined Cougar Sports on Thursday to go over why he chose college football over a professional contract to play rugby.
#BYUfootball commit Aleva Hifo (@AHifo7) has been offered by Nevada. The Heritage HS product remains a solid #BYU pledge.
